Caroline is a JUNO Award Nominee for solo
classical poerformance and the only harpist in Canada to graduate from
renowned Paris Conservatoire with a first prize. With over 25
years of teaching experience many of Caroline's students have acheived
advanced levels of performance and recieved numerous awards and
Caroline was the founder of the harp program at the Ottawa Youth
Orchestra and ran the program for 20 years. During this period
Caroline had the largest program of its kind for the harp in
Canada. Caroline now has a private studio.

from beginner to advanced levels. The curriculum is based on the
Conservatory Program. Caroline’s teaching program, is focused on
developing high caliber performance of classical solo harp, harp
ensembles, chamber music, and orchestra audition repertoire.
Lessons are provided in an enjoyable setting, tailored to the
individuals needs, and abilities.

number have gone on to advanced studies at major university music
schools including: Eastman School of Music, Yale School of Music, and
University of Toronto. Several students have won principal harp
positions with the National Youth Orchestra and others have been
invited to performance at the Ottawa International Chamber Music

necessary in addition to lessons. Caroline provides a program
tailored to the
individual and their particular needs.
Lyra Angelica Harp Ensembles
Caroline’s Lyra Angelica harp ensembles include harp duo, trios, and
quartet ensembles beginning from grade one (1) to grade twelve (12)
advanced Royal Conservatory of Music repertoire. Caroline strives
to promote and achieve the highest standards of performing
ensembles. Caroline selects students based on their development
for the various ensembles. Lyra Angelica ensembles perform in
concert invitations as well as outreach to schools and retirement homes.
Caroline is available for master classes specializing in French
repertoire solo, ensemble or chamber.

including the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal National Music
